This is a beautiful detailed needlepoint. 

The branch that the birds are perched on have pink flowers and buds. 

They look like Cherry or Apple blossoms. 

The brightly colored wild song birds are done in petit point .  

The finished needlepoint was professionally framed.  

The frame is a dark wood with gold trim. The frame has a small amount of wear. 

The song bird needlepoint measures 31 1/2" high X 8" wide. 

This is a lovely piece. It would make a nice gift for the bird or nature lover.  

It is signed and dated 1978. 

The needlepoint is in good vintage condition.
