This is a rare original rebuilt Oil Pressure and Water Temperature Dual Gauge, made by Smiths in England a long time ago. It is the correct gauge for a Jaguar Mark VII or Mark VIII, but it will fit any Jaguar saloon or XK from the 1950s. Note, though, that if this gauge is used in an XK120, 140, 150 or Mark I 2.4 or 3.4 saloon, the instrument will not be illuminated with the other gauges, as there is no provision for internal lighting. The Mark VII, VIII and IX casr had external illumination that shone directly on the dash and instruments from above. It is in good excellent refurbished condition, with a nen capillary tube The case is nice, face and glass are good and the temperature gauge works fine as the picture shows (the bulb is in front of a small electric heater in the pic).

We can offer other instruments for most classic Jaguars, as well as switches, all types of lamps, generators starters, engines and parts, body parts, almost anything for Jaguar XK120 140 150 and Mark I, 2, V, VII, VIII, IX, X, 420, 420G, 3.4S, 3.8S and most other classic Jaguar saloons and sports cars of the 1950s through 1970. Please contact us for other parts and we will find it if we don't have it!
