Spectacular and rare vintage (1970's) silk jersey jumpsuit by Missoni.  Orange label, purchased at high-end specialty store Nan Duskin of Philadelphia.  There is no size label present, but it fits my size 4 mannequin.

The print has a cobalt blue background with scattered checkerboard squares in orange, gold, black, white, green, red, and pink.

The jumpsuit has a square neckline and long wide ties that start at the back seam, form the side of the bodice, and extend to tie behind the neck.  The bodice waist seam dips to a slight V in the center front
.  There is a back center seam zipper.  The wide, flowing legs are fully lined.

Of course, there are beautiful couture details -- the zipper is put in by hand, the lining and the hem are in one, the interior finishes are lovely.

This is a wonderful opportunity to own an iconic garment by a brilliant designer.

In very good vintage condition.  There is some fading of the blue dye on the bodice (faintly visible in photo #2).  Otherwise, no holes, pulls, spots, stains, odors, or other issues.

Because manufacturers' sizing varies greatly, please compare the measurements of this garment to those of a similar garment that fits you. All measurements are unstretched.

Chest across  15"

Waist across  12"

Hip 6” below waistband  16.5"

Garment length, waist to hem  41"

Inseam  28.5"  (2.5" hem)

I strive to describe items accurately.  I do not accept returns.  I do not accept returns for fit or buyer’s remorse.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to read the measurements and item descriptions.  Items come from a smoke-free household.  I do have cats, but they could not care less about me and my eBay stuff.

Immediate payment is required for buy-it-now items.  For auctions, payment is expected within 4 days of the end of the auction.  If payment is not received within this four day period, and you have not communicated with me, I will open an Unpaid Item case with eBay.

I work to keep my shipping costs as low as possible, and add in only a small amount to cover mailers, bubble wrap, etc.   If you purchase more than one item at the same time, I will combine shipping whenever possible and refund the difference to you via PayPal.

When you have received your item, please leave me positive feedback, and I will do the same for you.  If you are in any way unhappy with our transaction, please contact me and I will do my best to make it good.

Thank you for taking the time to read my listing.  Good luck!
