You are bidding on a Sony α (alpha) NEX Bayonet Mount to RMS Microscope Objective Mount used for taking micro photographic pictures as shown in the pictures below.

 This adapter can be used on ALL standard RMS microscope objectives including Carl Zeiss Luminar (16 25 40 63mm).  Keep in mind that not all microscopes use this thread type but MOST do.

 

 This is the item you are purchasing. Please note the Microscope Objective is only for illustration and is not included in this sale.  This item will attach directly to your Sony α (alpha) NEX Camera..  Examples are as follows: Sony Alpha NEX-3, NEX-C3, NEX-5, NEX-5N, NEX-7, Sony Handycam NEX-VG10, NEX-VG20  and more.  If your not sure about your specific model Email me and I'll let you know.

    The piece which attaches to the microscope objective is a  RMS (Royal Microscope Society standard Whitworth 0.8 inch diameter / 36 TPI threads per inch) Threaded Microscope Objective mount to a T2 thread adapter (M42x0.75metric) allowing a microscope objective to mount on your camera. 

 

    A RMS/T2 mount with Microscope objective screwed in place. Objective not included in this sale.

 

    Mounted to your camera.  Please keep in mind that the proper T2 Bayonet mount for your camera is still required This photo is of a Nikon camera. You are purchasing Sony α (alpha) NEX  used on a Mirorless cameras.  I also sell these T2 bayonet mounts separately or as packages. Keep in mind while the lens will fit physically, the automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. "Stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body. You can shoot with manual mode or aperture priority mode.

 

This is an actual Micro Four Thirds (Micro 4/3) camera with the Bayonet T2, T2 to RMS and Objective.
