Here is a cool piece of Peavey history here. Comes with the Peavey hardshell case, instruction manual, and a letter signed by John Fields of Peavey authenticating the info below. This "Limited" was built by the late Peavey luthier Mike Powers in the Leakesville, MS plant as a Namm show/ dealer/sales rep demo guitar around the time the Peavey Custom Shop was getting started (early 2000's). Former Peavey artist relations manager Bill Xavier asked Mike to build the guitar to show off the new "Tiger Eye" finish and super grade top wood. Since it was built before the official start of the "Limited" series, it has no serial number; in fact, the model wasn't even going to be called the "Limited" at the time this guitar was built. You'll notice the headstock color is slightly different than the one on the production custom Limited's. It has Van Zandt pickups in the mid and neck and a Dimarzio pro track in the bridge for a little extra bite. The general condition of the guitar is excellent. Guitar has a few impression marks on rear and front forward top edge from honest limited play use. has minor surface scratch's associated with limited play. Not a mint new guitar, but very nice for a 17+ year old guitar. Fret condition is 95% new with no divits etc. This guitar weighs around 7 pounds. This guitar has a killer neck profile with a low fast action! Will definitely blow any stock strat outta the water! Tone in all positions is amazing! Private stock custom shop quality at a very reasonable price in this extremely rare NAAM show/ demo guitar!
