Policies

 

All transformers are new and supplied from the UK. Supplied serial numbers are recorded for warranty entitlement purposes.

Halogen Solutions complies fully with the Distance Selling Regulation, which provides the buyer with the right to return the goods for a full refund within 7 working days after the date of receipt.

DSR requires the goods to be returned at the buyers costs. Notice of cancellation must be provided by email within the DSR applicable time.

No restocking charges apply where goods are returned under DSR.

Under DSR the buyer has a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and to ensure they are received back in good condition.

Any items returned will firstly be checked for a matching serial number and inspected to verify condition.

Warranty replacements will only be provided if the returned unit tests as faulty and the serial number matches.

If a warranty return tests OK, it will be returned along with photographic proof.

Return postage is to be paid by the buyer. Seller refunds postage at standard UK or airmail rates should the item be confirmed as faulty.

Do not attempt to open the transformer. There are no user serviceable parts, security seals will be broken and warranty will be invalidated.

You must have the transformer fitted by a qualified electrician.

Should you self-fit then you assume full responsibility for your health and safety and for complying with regulations and standards related to electrical installations.

The goods are supplied as a unit and no responsibility will be accepted for the suitability or safety of any unit you may fit the item into, or use the item with.
