This listing is for a very nice 5oz/120g  .999 SILVER COMMEMORATIVE MEDAL FROM CHINA.  The Medal is large being 2 3/4"/70mm Diameter,  9 1/2" around and approx. .5c thick.  The Coin-shaped Large Medal is in in a hard plastic holder; the holder has seen better days having some cracks and scratches; the top comes off, but we could not get the coin out of the bottom and didn't push it, not wanting to scratch or ruin the piece.  We photographed the Medal with both the top off and on--obviously, you can see the obverse without the top, the reverse is covered in the plastic holder.  This is a super shiny, mirrored Proof-Like Medal--you can see your reflection rather well in the coin.  There is light scratching to the piece, but it is still a brilliant-looking Medal with raised, detailed designs and ridged edging.  The Commemorative Medal was released by PRC in 1988 representing THE YEAR OF THE DRAGON; mintage of this Medal is 5000. Please look at the Excellent Photos taken with a HIGH FLASH to highlight the features of the Medal.  OBVERSE:  THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA  CHARACTERS ABOVE THE WALL SPELL "PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA"  1988 IS BELOW THE WALL.  REVERSE:  3 DRAGONS CIRCLING A PEARL  A RAISED SILVER RING IS AROUND THE DRAGONS WITH SNAKE-LIKE DRAGONS ALONG THE OUTER CIRCLE.  5oz AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DESIGN.   Super nice-looking Collectable Medal that will make an excellent addition to a collection.  Your Medal will be Well-Packed and Shipped Tracked and Insured with Signature Confirmation.  BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR INITIATING ALL INSURANCE CLAIMS.  Please feel free to ask ???'s prior to purchasing; our response time is usually fast.  Item comes from a home shared w/kitties & a puppy.
