You are bidding on a vintage 1978 rare promotional only cookie jar of the RSO (Robert Stigwood Organisation) Records red bull logo mascot.  This was never available for sale to the public and was a promotional item to the record executives in the 1978 holiday season.  RSO managed superstars like the Bee-Gees and Andy Gibb in the late 1970s.  They also produced the mega selling Grease and Saturday Night Fever soundtracks as well as Fame, Sparkle, and some of the Star Wars soundtracks.  The cookie jar measures 14" long x 5" wide x 8" high.  It seems to be made of ceramic.  There are no chips or cracks and the RSO tag is there.  There is very mild paint wear as shown in the photos.  I have seen a couple of these cookie jars and the paint jobs are never perfect; I think that this is how they were originally produced.  Overall the cookie jar is in excellent condition.  Please do not hestitate to contact me with any questions or if additional photos are needed prior to bidding.  What a great addition to your cookie jar, advertising icons, Bee-Gees, disco, or record collection.  This would make one awesome gift!
