This is an old Waltham pocket watch with chain.  I have had the watch for many, many years as it belonged to a family member. On the bottom of the watch it reads: I.W.C.Co. Base Metal. I am not a jeweler so I could not tell you if the watch will work.  It is missing one hand and I assume the glass on its face.  The back of the watch shows some age wear (scuffy).  When you turn the knob it makes a winding sound.  You are purchasing the watch as is.  If you have any further questions, please feel free to email before purchasing.  Thanks!
