These darling dolls preceded the "elf on the shelf" dolls (which were created later in 1957 and manufactured in Japan). This hand made art-form was a gift giving 40's tradition during the holidays for families and friends for wishing them luck and happiness.
Every doll is different and no two are ever alike.
She is a bendable wire form and very lightweight with loose soft stuffing.
Side glancing, hard plastic molded face form.
This pixie is 24" tall (long legs) and made in a blue satin material (some and few, hard to see violet areas due to age )adorned with white pom poms and with sequenced netted trim.
She has 2 old bells tied at her neck and holds a little vintage angel as well.
Felt hands and booties. Aged wear , but sound and clean and without odors.
Will come with a small card about the "Christmas Pixie"story *<] :-)
