Paw Paw Flowering Fruit Tree

A small tree grown chiefly for its attractive flowers, handsome foliage and edible fruit.  Fragrant purple blooms are followed by oblong-shaped fruits with a fresh banana-like flavor.  Plump 4 to 5 inch fruits turn from light green to near black when ripe.  Pyramidal 15 to 30 ft growth habit with  a 20 foot spread and big drooping leaves. Plant two or more trees to ensure pollination. Excellent pollinators for named varieties.  First year, partial shade (next year, full sun is fine) and protect from strong winds and keep soil moist. Zones 5-9.

This auction is for 10 (ten) 3-4 ft bareroot plant.  The well developed root system make them ready to plant.  The plant is carefully packaged for shipping.

Many of our trees are branched with a good caliper size.  These trees may be pruned for shipping.

We reserve the right to send a larger size tree/plant then stated in the listing.

Payment

Payment is expected within 7 days.  Payments can be made with Paypal (credit cards accepted by Paypal Only).  Payments made using Paypal will be shipped to the address Paypal has on file, so please have it updated.  We will not be responsible for orders sent to addresses that are not current.

Combining Items/ Shipping and Handling Charges

All shipping information is for US shipments only.

We do offer combined shipping discounts during a 7 day period.  If you wish to receive a discount for shipping, you MUST pay for all items in one payment.  We may, however, ship multiple orders in one shipment.

Some of our items have different handling/ship timeframes.  Please see individual listings for specific information.  An example is Canna and Trees.  Canna are shipped within 1-2 business days.  Trees, however have a longer shipping timeframe.  If you wish to take advantage of our combined shipping rates, the longest handling/ship timeframes will apply to your entire order.  If you wish to receive your orders as soon as possible, please separate Canna (or other item) from your Tree order when making payment and pay in 2 different payments.  Shipping will be charged per order and shipped at the earliest possible time.

Any orders cancelled will be charged a 25% restocking fee.  If order has already been prepared for shipment, shipping charges are also non-refundable.  If packages are refused for any reason, we are no longer liable for the sale.  If you have any questions, please contact us.

Delivery Dates

We try to get your order out ASAP.  Some orders, such as Canna, will be shipped within 1-2 business days.  During our busy season, tree orders may take up to 2-3 weeks before shipping.  We dig many of our plants and trees prior to shipping. We appreciate your patience.

If you wish to have your items shipped at a later date, please note the shipping week on the payment.  Due to eBay’s shipping policy, we may/may not be able to accommodate your request.  We will work with you on date request. However, we cannot guarantee a shipping or arrival date since adverse weather can affect our ability to dig plants.

We ship most orders on Monday and Tuesday.  Depending on your location, we may also ship on Wednesday or Thursday.

Your plant orders are scheduled to arrive within 3 days or less of leaving our nursery.  Orders shipped by FedEx or UPS usually take an extra day or two before arrival.

You will receive shipping tracking/confirmation information at time of shipment.

Shipping Methods

Tree orders are usually shipped by USPS Priority Mail.  We do occasionally ship by FedEx or UPS on large or heavy items/orders.  FedEx and UPS do not deliver to a PO Box.  We will contact you for a physical address, if needed.  Some small item orders may be shipped by USPS First Class Mail Package Service.

Our Plant Guarantee

We supply quality, healthy and vigorous plants.  Your order will be carefully handled, packaged and shipped to ensure that you receive a healthy, ready to plant product.

Many of our plants are shipped in a dormant state.  Some potted plants do not show any signs of growth above the soil.  They may look like they are dead, but they are not.  Just be patient the plant will leaf out.  Trees may be trimmed to fit into our large shipping containers.  If you have any concerns, just contact us.  We will be happy to answer your questions.

We have no control over how/where/when you plant them or how “Mother Nature” treats them.  However, we’ll do our utmost to ensure your satisfaction. We give no warranty, expressed or implied, as to the growth, productivity, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Customer Service

All live plant sales are final.  Seeds are live plants. No refunds or replacements after 24 hours of receiving.  Within 24 hours of receiving and inspection, if you have any concerns, please contact us immediately.  Wilted leaves or a broken branch is not considered a loss.  Shipping costs will only be refunded if the incorrect product was sent or received damaged or defective. After inspection, we will replace or credit, at our option, any which prove to be misnamed.  Our liability is limited to the original purchase price of the nursery stock.  Shipping charges are NON-refundable.  If required, return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.  Only one claim per plant for replacement or credit will be honored.

We warrant all of our nursery stock to be viable, healthy and true to name at time of shipment.  We do not guarantee against losses due to adverse weather conditions, animal damage, herbicide injury, excessive fertilizer, improper planting techniques or care, or any other factor beyond our control once you have received the plants.  We do not guarantee against plants that are planted outside of recommended planting zones or improper planting times for the zone.  These factors are totally out of the seller's control and are the purchaser's responsibility and risk.  Seller cannot be responsible for buyer’s growing methods or mistakes.  By clicking “Buy It Now” or adding to cart for payment, you are agreeing to these terms.
