Needle minders are very useful as they hold your needle safe through magnetism. They have one magnet on the back and a second magnet which you place behind the other on the back side of your fabric. This does not damage your fabric or stitching at all. These have a very strong neodymium magnets and the back magnet has a charm, Jewel or button attached to make it harder to lose.
