Exclusive limited collection of high quality bamboo placemats are made by artisans in Northern region of Vietnam and specifically designed for VNhomeware shop. The handmade placemats are produced from treated fine and uniform sticks. The bamboo sticks are used either in their natural wood colours of light brown (cream colour) or delicately dyed in different colours but without overshadowed its natural wood grain. 

Eye catching patterns of placemats are created by elegant combination of dyed bamboo sticks and colourful fine fabric strings lacing together. Thanks to a density of bamboo sticks and strings provide rigid placemats for long lasting use. 

Contemporary style placemats of bold colours will be a statement enhancing the beauty of your dining table. Being compact and light weight placemats are also easily rolled up for storage. The use of natural materials makes the products friendly environment. 

The placemats can be gently cleaned and wiped with a damp cloth after use.

Condition of goods

All goods on sale from our store are handmade products, not mass production; therefore please accept there may be slight differences between these handcrafted items. All good are warrantied as fit for their purpose of use.

Being aware of issues of distance selling, all shown pictures are carefully taken to reflect and respect the nature of the goods, using good natural light on a white surface.

All goods are imported from Vietnam as brand new, unused, undamaged condition in original packaging if applicable. The goods are checked before dispatch to customers. On receipt if you find any fault of the product or damage , please contact us within 7 days and request an  exchange or refund. (Please read refund or exchange information)

Payment Methods

The payment should be received via PayPal within 3 days of your order or successful auction. If you have any problem in paying, please contact us. If you are not sure for purchasing products, please do not buy or bid.

Without reasonable communication or payment within 7 days after the auction has ended, we may feel it necessary to contact eBay administration, although this is always our last option.

Package and Postage

Vietnamhomeware commits to a friendly environmental policy. We try our best to recycle light weight packaging materials, which also decreases delivery cost.  We strive to have items reach you safely and quickly at low shipping cost. Goods will be sent by 2nd class postage by Royal Mail for UK based customers, which are aimed to deliver within 3-5 working days. If you prefer some other services, please choose from our other options on postage list or contact us prior to payment. The postage fee will be adjusted according to your choice of delivery method. For customers outside the UK, the goods will be sent by Airmail service with Royal Mail which aims to deliver good within 3-5 working days.

If you buy and pay for more than 1 item, please allow us to pack and send together unless indicated by you, this may cut down on the postage fee. Please note: any saved postage fee will be refunded to you within 2 days after delivery.

We shall inform you of the progress of packaging and postage with delivery time estimated by the carriers. If there might be late in delivery, please inform us within 2 days after estimated time for investigation with the carriers. We strive to investigate and resolve the issue, either by replacement or refund when applicable. Please be patience with us in these circumstances as we have to deal with a third party.

Return Policy

Though items are checked prior to dispatch, if you find any faults or damage during delivery, we will exchange your goods if we have available stock or process a refund. Please contact us for any problem within 7 days upon receipt.

In case of return of damaged items, the goods must be in unworn, unwashed, unused and in clean condition and original packaging. Please follow our instruction for the return process and postage. Replacement of similar goods or refund of full cost will be carried out after our investigation within 7 days upon receipt of returned items. For genuine claims, we shall replace similar good or we shall refund the full purchased price and postage fee paid for the returned item.

In case of return requests for mistaken order, unwanted item or change of mind by customers, we could accept the return with consideration within 7 days after receipt of the product. The returned goods must be unworn, unwashed, unused and in clean condition and original packaging. Please be informed that the refund will be the cost of the item after deduction of packaging, postage fee and administration fees. This also applicable to items sold with free delivery. Customers are responsible for postage fee for the returned items in this case. We aim to investigate and inform the result with solution within 7 days upon receipt of the returned item.
