This car, like all the others I'm selling, is from a large collection (over 500 cars) put together over 40 years by an serious car lover and collector. He is an elderly man now and has asked me to liquidate his collection so that his estate doesn't have to deal with it later. Most of these cars are were minimally handled and/or displayed, were stored in their original packing and are in excellent condition, unless otherwise noted.

I'm pricing these to sell. In most instances the Buy It Now price is right at or even a little below what the same car in the same condition has sold for in the last few months. If the car doesn't sell in 14-21 days, I will relist it at a lower price. You could try and hold out and see if you get lucky. Your call. But way more often than not...it will be gone.

COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNT? -- Absolutely! I can offer at least a 30% discount on shipping when you buy two or more cars and they ship in the same box. And discounts on the sale price can sometimes happen with multiple purchases. Buy and pay for one and then immediately let me know to hold the car until all our business is concluded.

Thanks for looking. And have a blessed day.

1962 Exoto AC Cobra Roadster in Standox Daytona Paradise

Daytona Beach, Florida, is the American paradise of motor-sports," according to Exoto, which also stated:

" The first stock-car races were held on Daytona's sandy beaches.  They featured ordinary cars that had been tuned for the smuggling of alcohol during Prohibition; the ingenious moonlighters had tuned the engines so that they could out-run the police!

The Daytona tri-oval track, opened in 1959, is four kilometers long, has three steep bends and three straights.  It was here that the slipstream effect was first discovered and utilized in racing.

The Daytona Paradise special effect color pays homage to this legendary race track. Its sparkle inspires through an impressive display of colours.  Depending on how the light is reflected, Daytona Paradise "pitches" a fascinating range of blue and green shades: intense petrol changing to bright emerald, then a shimmer of gold vanishing in a deep violet hue."
