Here's a vintage MAC chef knife with a 9" blade and handsome rosewood handle, and in very good condition.  The blade shows light scratching and wear consistent with its age, but is clean, straight and recently re-edged to paper-cutting sharpness.  The handle is in excellent shape, smooth and tight to the tang.

NOTE:  This knife's blade has been slightly reprofiled at the back, so that it curves smoothly away from the user's fingers (in the original profile, the choil at the back of the blade has a protrusion that can get in the way of a user who holds the knife with a pinch grip).  While this modification might downgrade the knife in the eyes of a collector, many working cooks will consider it an improvement.  It certainly doesn't adversely affect the knife's performance--like all vintage MACs, this thing cuts like a champ.

Consult the pictures for further details on condition, and feel free to ask questions.
