For sale here at a BARGAIN buy-it-now price is a current British Army issue MTP multi terrain pattern camouflage MVP / goretex lightweight breathable waterproof jacket, in good Grade-1 used condition with tons of life left in it, in a Medium size 170/90 to suit those up to 5'7" tall. PLEASE CAREFULLY READ SIZING DETAILS BELOW.
These latest issue lightweight MTP Moisture Vapour Permeable goretex jackets are a fantastic piece of kit, they are light in weight and can be packed away very small, they are made from a rip-stop MVP laminate material, the front closes with a storm-proofed two-way zip. There are Velcro closure pockets on each arm, a rank tab with access pocket flap on the chest, a fleece lined collar and a shaped bottom hem with an elasticated drawcord allowing the jacket to be securely tightened round the waist or below your posterior. All tapes are fully seamed, there are zipped vents under the armpits and this is a true breathable waterproof jacket, these jackets are a much more commercial cut and fit than previous designs and wear more like a civilian jacket meaning they are less conspicuous when worn whilst doing your shopping!
CONDITION: Jacket is in good Grade-1 used condition, it has been issued and worn so it is not mint and there are some very light grubby marks and some creasing, however there is no physical damage and no worn areas, nothing is missing and it has tons of life left in it. SIZE - PLEASE READ: Jacket is labelled as a Medium 170/90 (5'7" max height, 36" natural chest), these jackets are notorious for being sized wrongly but this is pretty true to size BUT compared to most civilian size Medium I think this is on the small side particularly in terms of arm length, I am 5'10" and it is just a bit too short in the sleeves for menot cut generously so please pay close attention to the measurements as they come up on the tape measure which is as follows: 45" chest (22.5" pit-to-pit), 23.5" under-arm, 30.5" from collar seam to bottom hem of jacket.
