. This is awesome fiber optic fiber. It's water clear but when you connect it to a light source the side light up like a neon tube. The brighter the light you use the brighter the side glows. The tip also lights up very bright too just like End Glow fiber optic fiber. This is very flexible and can be bent in a very tight radius. This is a great alternative to neon lighting and at a fraction of the price. Best of all you can do it yourself!
The picture above shows a 1 foot long fiber lit up by 1 red micro illuminator and the picture below shows a 4 foot long fiber lit up by one green micro illuminator. You can put an illuminator on both ends of the fiber to make it light up brighter too. Whatever color your light is will be the color the fiber will light up.

These Illuminators have one very bright white LED bulb. They can be used with 3 to 12 volts DC power. They have a built in resistor so you can use a wide range of voltage. You can also purchase extras from me if you need them. I now have White, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, UV Purple (black light), white flashing and color changing. If you would rather have one of these instead of a white one please ask me what colors are available in case I'm out of some. One illuminator will light up 4 to 6 feet of fiber or 8 to 12 feet very nicely if you put one on each end of the fiber. If you use a brighter light source you can light up 100 feet or more.

This is very high quality optical plastic fiber optic fiber. It is super easy and safe to work with. You can cut it very easy with a hobby knife or scissors. It emits NO heat, only light! It can be cut to any size from 1 inch long to over 100 feet! This is perfect for room accent lighting and many hobby applications.
