This gas powered motorized bicycle kit is adaptable to most standard bikes (But is impossible to install correctly on bikes with rear suspension- For that we recommend you check out our "Tire-Roller" Bike Motor Kits). Installation can be accomplished by following the instructions available at Livefastmotors.com/instructions. . Your bike can be operated with or without the motor running. Throttle and kill switch are mounted on the handlebars. This dependable motor requires no mixing of gas and oil. The gas powered bicycle motor is pull started and has a centrifugal (automatic) clutch so no clutch lever is needed. This gas powered engine kit for bicycles starts easily, usually on the first pull. Gas mileage is 100 mpg +.

This motor is of Chinese origin and is an excellent copy of a 4-cycle Honda motor. It comes with everything necessary to motorize your bicycle. The motor is EPA approved and certified and it has a closed fuel system and a catalytic converter to protect the environment. Optional items for this motor kit are the clamshell sprocket adapter (clam shell small (CSS) for multi speed bikes, and clam shell large (CSL) for coaster brake bikes), the spring loaded chain tensioner, and a HUGE 4.5 Liter Gas Tanks. Please Note that you are not receiving a bicycle or other upgraded parts that may be pictured in our completed project pictures.  The Completed bicycle pictures a "Spring Loaded Chain Tensioner".  While your kit comes with a "Standard Chain Tensioner".  Contact us, or check out our eBay listings if you would like one of these Upgrades.  You can also see our upgraded "Flex Muffler" in one of the pictures.  These are great add-ons to think about.  Give us a Call if you have any questions.

This motor is made in China, but do not let that be a concern.  We guarantee everything including the motor for factory defects for 30 days.  These motors are patterned very closely after a similar Honda Motor except that the power may even be greater.    The motor is pull started, and has a centrifugal clutch which makes it extremely easy to operate.   Just start the motor which usually starts on the very first pull and give it gas with the thumb throttle to take off.  Then let off on the gas to slow down, or stop.   The motor is turned off with an on-off switch.  In the unlikely case that you break something, we carry most of the parts that you may ever need at very reasonable prices.

 

Because the motor is under 50CC in power it is legal to drive without registration or license in most states....but check your DMV in your own area if you have a concern.  In most areas you can drive it just like you would a bike.  As a matter of fact you can turn the motor off and drive it with very little resistance from the drive unit.
