The APG Subwoofer SUB146 and SUB146S are designed for infra-bass reinforcement for high and very high power APG systems.
They both feature a 18" PHL Audio speaker with ventilated driver loaded by a hyperbolic horn integrated in the wooden enclosure. A hyperbolic horn brings high efficiency and excellent control of the cone displacement. This technology produces a very regular low frequency cut-off resulting in perfect linear coupling, which makes it particularly suitable for multi-cabinet applications.
These subwoofers are highly efficient and they are characterized by their dynamic capabilities below 30 Hz.
Their enclosures include two built-in steel bar handles and a standard 36mm female pole mount socket allowing the installation of a satellite speaker.
The operation of the APG SUB 146/146S subwoofers requires the use of an APG processor. All APG processors include a mono subwoofer output.
