Sari silk yarn is a by product of sari manufacturing in India. The silk has a soft texture to it. Sari silk yarn is the silk waste fibres left over, recycled and handspun into a unique and inspirational silk yarn by women's co-operatives in India who Yarn Yarn work with. We have our colours made to specification, and custom buy all our yarns and have been doing so since 2008. Sari silk yarn is a beautiful iridescent silk yarn suitable for knitting, crochet, weaving, eco gift wrap, fibre art, textile and fibre jewellery and more. 

Sari silk yarn is a silk yarn spun by women in rural India running their own businesses and spinning using traditional techniques using a charka, drop spindle of wheel. The silk yarn that is produced is magical, has a unique soft texture, quite chunky in weight in some and the colours so bold.
