A beautiful guitar made by luthier Harry McCormick of Cork in 1993, labelled as No.14. I bought this second hand, not directly from the luthier, so don't know it's full history, but it was previously owned by a professional flamenco player who was selling some of his collection as he was moving to Spain. It's definitely the highest quality guitar I own, and has been made with real artistry and craftsmanship, and plays and sounds top notch in my opinion. The guitar is very light and loud, and is suited to flamenco. I'm not 100% on the woods it's made from, but my best guess is spruce and monterey cypress.

I need to mention that there is a notable but purely cosmetic scratch on the soundboard level with the bridge, which can be seen in some of the photos - this was there when I bought the guitar. The guitar also has other minor marks and signs of use on the body fitting with a used guitar. I've tried to show this in the photos.

I recently restrung the guitar with La Bella 413P Professional Studio Recording Strings with Polished Basses.

I haven't found a huge amount of information about the luthier Harry McCormick, but did find a video of a 13-string guitar which he made, being played beautifully by Mark Anthony McGrath.

It's always risky posting instruments, so I'd rather the buyer collects. However, if you do want it posted I have a Hiscox Liteflite Pro II case which I can include for an extra £50 (the case is worth £130 new). This is included in the quoted postage cost (£50 for the case + £30 for insured delivery).

Potential buyers are more than welcome to come and try the guitar before buying - I'm based in Brighton. You can give me a call on 07910801636 if you want to arrange a viewing.

Not knowing much more about the luthier and the original value of the guitar it's difficult to value. The "Buy It Now" price is what I'd value the guitar at (taking into account the cosmetic marks), but I'm very open to offers and a conversation about the price. I'm only selling as I need to free up some money, and don't play enough flamenco/classical guitar to justify having such a fantastic instrument sitting around.

Thanks for looking, and do feel free to message me with any questions about the guitar.
