Original Oil Painting Seascape Ocean Wave Rocky Shore Coastline on Board Signed  (#9)
This semi-impressionistic rendering of the waves is created with bold, self-assured strokes of the
brush and palette knife. I've taken close ups so that you may appreciate the texture of the paint on the surface.
This piece was created by an experienced hand with a passion for capturing the ethereal beauty of the powerful, every changing light, water and rocky shore and the interplay between them all with interesting light play. Relentless motion changing minute to minute.

I purchased these oil on board paintings at a local estate auction here in New England as a lot. I paid well for them.
It is my assumption they are from the same artist as stylistically they appear to be.
He has signed only two of them: Max Gatlitz (as far as I can tell). This is one of the two that were signed. I would presume the two he signed were
satisfactory to him and the others perhaps more like studies for larger pieces? I don't know.
What I do know is that they are all remarkable and they look and feel like living pieces. The motion in the waves and ocean is palpable.

Some are bold and risky
while others more sublime and quiet. I imagine he visited these locations and the varying ocean and weather conditions were captured.
This piece measures 18" x 24". If you are interested in creating a grouping with several of these pieces kindly contact me and I can put together a group price.
Art is a gift...to ourselves and to ones we love. The appeal is ageless and appreciation for original art spans the generations and delights all recipients.

You should know:

Ebay is not just a hobby for me. It is how I support my family and I take my work and the satisfaction of my customers very seriously. I scour New England buying items at auctions, estate sales (sometimes even yard sales) and from individuals looking to downsize. I keep some items for myself (we live in a 200 year old Colonial here in New England) and I sell the rest. It's an incredibly enjoyable way to make a living and I love it!

I price my items to sell as I am not a collector and I am not trying to make a killing- just trying to make a living. I know a little about a lot of different things and a lot about very few things. Each time I list an unfamiliar item I do a bit of homework and I develop a listing price. Without wasting a whole lot of time I get the item in the store on eBay.  Many items I offer have a "make an offer" option on them as I am open to reasonable and serious offers on most everything I have in the store.

Thus far all buyers of everything I have offered have been pleased with their experience here and their  purchases from me.

We do have a generous return policy as well so you may purchase any of my items with the utmost confidence- take a moment to review my hard-earned excellent feedback profile.

It's all good here. Thank you for your consideration.
