Virgil England's "Shantu Skate" Dagger.
This
elegant finger-grip dagger is carried by the Shantu, the dispensers of justice
in Virgil's "Hetlands" tales.
The Shantu Skate Knife is a 7-1/4" sweep of strongly
convexed and blackened, tempered steel.
The handle is leather.
The butt,
integral double ring guard and thumb support are coppered steel. Overall length
is 12-1/4". The weight is 10.3 oz.
