So you’ve painted the faceplate (or you’ve got a cover for the faceplate) on your Technics SL-1210MK2, but you miss the logo, what do you do?
Well, you could get stickers. That’s right, stickers!! ....to put on an expensive quality turntable.
If third-rate and nasty is the look you want, and you want to ruin all your hard work modding your table, then I guess that's up to you...
OR
You could buy an attractive metallic nameplate that completely fits the aesthetic of the table.
Made from aluminium (with dye sublimation print) and an adhesive backing, it’s quite similar to the metallic pitch fader decal already seen on the table.
So not only does it look great on its own, it easily blends in to the table’s existing features, while giving it that extra touch of class.
It shows the complete logo, in the same dimensions, featured originally on a Technics SL-1210MK2.
The plate itself is 91mm x 18mm x 1mm (including adhesive backing).
ONE WORD OF WARNING: Make sure you are CAREFUL to place the plate EXACTLY where you want it. Although the plate can be removed, it’s not easy, and can often result in damage to the plate or even occasionally to the paint work you’ve painstakingly applied to your table. If this happens, I will not be held responsible for any resulting consequences to either the plate or the turntable.
My advice is to get a ruler and some easily removed painters tape and measure exactly where you want the plate to go. Take your time, do it right, and you’ll have a great result!
