For sale is this vintage paper mache Santa Claus Christmas decoration. We have seen these marked as paper mache "pulp" or "egg carton" in other similar listings. We are reasonably sure this piece is from the 1940s, but it could also be from the early 1950s. On the bottom of his boots, we see the number "1" and "Patent Applied For." Measures approximately 9" tall. Please see the pictures to evaluate the condition. We see only normal age and wear, as there are no major flaws.
