I bought it new back in 2006. Never used it much over that period. I personally found it too heavy compared to using my Canon 70-200. It's showing signs of plastic coating peeling away on the casing. This doesn't in any way affect the performance. Optics are spot on. I'd actually prefer any potential buy to come and try it on their camera body.

After three house moves, I no longer have the case or hood. It's always had a filter fitted, however I will be holding on to it. Feel free to ask any questions.
