Here's an early, U.S.A. built Fender Tweed Blues Deluxe amplifier. These early American Blues Deluxe amps are getting somewhat scarce and are starting to become a bit collectible among players. Personally, I find the older USA versions to be a touch warmer and smoother than their modern, Mexican made counterparts. This amp has seen some duty in the trenches as the tweed is worn and peeling, scuffing, etc. There's also a few cigarette burns on the top thrown in for good measure. There are, however, no funky smoke smells. This amp is a gigging machine! With reverb and approximately 40 watts of tube power in a reasonably sized 1x12 cabinet, there's not too many situations this amp won't excel in. Tonally, it's well broken in. It has that smooth, gravely voice only years of playing and gigging will get you. It's warm and full but still has plenty of chime and clarity when needed. Not only does it look vintage but at over 20 years old, it practically is vintage!
