The Alesis EuroDance QCard is in excellent cosmetic and working condition. Also included is the Alesis Instruction Booklet/Patch Charts and the Protective Jewel Case.
Note that this card has been Refurbished and is guaranteed to be in excellent working condition, with a LIFETIME warranty. QCards are comprised of several primary components - the Outer Casing, the 68 Pin PCMCIA Connector, and a Circuit Board containing many electronic components including Flash Memory Chips, ASICs, Transistors, Capacitors, and a primary Controller Chip. My Refurbished QCards have had at least one or more of these components replaced to guarantee that the card meets (or exceeds) the original factory specifications. If you are wondering why this card does NOT work in the Lower Slot of the QSR/QS7/QS8 Models, it is because of the fact that there are many different replacement Flash Memory Chips. These chips vary in price and compatibility. For example, The Flash Memory Chips required to refurbish a card that will work in BOTH Slots of the QSR/QS7/QS8 Models are considerably more expensive than the Flash Memory Chips required for Upper Slot only functionality. Since not all users require a card that works in both slots, I prefer to offer my buyers both options. If you require a card that works in Both Slots of the QSR/QS7/QS8 then check out my auction for my $115 card, but if you are satisfied with a card that works in the Upper Slot only you can save some $$ by purchasing this card. Also note that this card will work in BOTH Slots of the QS6.1, QS7.1 and QS8.1 - it is only the QSR/QS7/QS8 Models that require the more expensive Flash Memory Chips for Upper and Lower Slot compatibility.

The EuroDance QCard provides excellent, big, well-produced quality sounds for the Electronic and Dance genres. However, this card is one of the best in the series because it offers many other great patches for all types of musical genres - the pads in particular are very spacious and beautiful. New waveforms include many loops as well as classic "House" Organs and Pianos, Analog Synth Waves, Additive/Bell Waveforms, TB-303, Fairlight, Ambient, and some absolutely "slamming" Drum Kits, with all the "usual" suspects such as the TR-909 and TR-808, but also the CR-78 "Rhythm Machine", classic Drum 'n' Bass drums (Amen breakbeat) and much more.

00 Encounter . . . a classic Drum 'n Bass / Jungle of mid-1990s. Back then, this type of ambient D 'n' B was in vogue in the U.K. Typical sub bass and excellent pads.
01 E Mayhem . . . cool Techno tune, showcasing the killer drums and the new 303 waveforms.
02 The House . . . all sounds that were hugely popular in the mid-90s - the Korg M1-style percussive Organ and Piano, the clean 909, etc.

- Will this card work with the QuadraSynth/QuadraSynth Plus Piano or the S4/S4 Plus Sound Module?
ALL Qcards work FINE with the QuadraSynth Plus Piano and S4 Plus Sound Modules. QCards also work fine with the ORIGINAL Quadrasynth and the ORIGINAL S4 Sound Modules, BUT you MUST load a Special Preset Bank into the User Bank first in order for the QCard to work with the ORIGINAL Quadrasynth/S4, and your operating system must be version 1.07 or higher. I can e-mail you the Special Preset Bank which you will need to transfer to your Quadrasynth/S4 using a MIDI sysex program - or I can make you a custom SRAM Card programmed with the Special Preset Bank or Banks - if you want to use multiple QCards I can program as many as eight Special Preset Banks on one SRAM Card. E-mail me for custom SRAM Card options and pricing. - Will this card work with the Alesis DG8 88 Note digital Piano?
Yes, ALL Qcards work the Alesis DG8 in addition to the QS Series Synths.
| NOTE: I believe in fair shipping fees, but due to US Postal Rate changes, the shipping fees have gone up again (1st Quarter of 2013). I securely pack my cards using cardboard inserts and bubble packs, and the Post Office NO LONGER ships these packages at the letter rate. And they ALSO drastically changed International rates. So my new shipping fees are $4.50 via US First Class Mail and $7.00 for Priority Mail in the Continental US. Worldwide shipping is no longer a flat rate and has just about DOUBLED from 2012 rates. I have found the new rates to range from around $13.00 to $16.00 (used to be $6.00 to $9.00), depending on country. Sorry about this, I have kept my rates constant and fair for years but the recent rate changes have forced me to make these changes. Add $2.60 more if you want shipping insurance in the US. For International packages, you MUST select Express Mail International if you want shipping insurance as the USPS will NOT insure First Class International or Priority Mail International packages. I DO COMBINE SHIPPING, but please read first if you are purchasing more than one card.
