History about us
We have been building high quality units since 1981. We specialize in
high output alternators and restoring vintage starters, alternators
and generators from 1920 up.
Direct Replacement
This is a direct bolt and plug in replacement for the 37, 42, 55, 61 and 63
amp alternators that were used. Only a few vehicles came with the
oversize cased 100 amp alternator, this alternator will not replace
the oversized unit. If you have any questions please contact us.
All alternators will come with a single v-groove pulley, if you need a double pulley
or a serpentine pulley we can install that on the unit at no extra cost, just let us know after you buy.
Chargers Auto Electric, will warranty and is responsible for the part that was purchased ONLY. We do not offer any form of labor cost, that is why we recommend that
you fully charge your battery prior to installing any alternator. If the battery has low voltage and or a low battery cell the alternator will not charge or perform properly,
so you should alway test your battery to make sure it is a properly functional battery.
