The 305mmR fingerboard was arrived at through trial and error, with the aim of not clogging up the sound even when choking with a large contact width, and not stressing the fingers and hands when working with chords.

The fingerboard and neck are made of Estech treated maple wood. Estech treatment is a nitrogen heat treatment technology developed in Miyagi Prefecture for wood, and is the first in the world to use it as guitar material. ESTEC Wood has characteristics such as shape stability, durability against warping, water resistance, and resistance to temperature changes, and has been patented in Japan for these characteristics.
