Platinum Modern Maki-e Cranes Fountain Pen with a Medium Nib + Free Ink Convertor
Maki-e pens from Japan are regarded as some of the most luxurious and prestigious writing instruments available and we're really excited to be stocking this stunning range. The pen is made by the Platinum Pen Company (from Tokyo) who have been making maki-e pens since the 1930s and are very highly regarded for their beautiful designs and quality finish. The pen itself has an 18K solid gold nib and has a silk screen printed maki-e design of cranes flying past Mount Fuji along the barrel. Each pen has been carefully hand finished and looks absolutely stunning. These are great pens for enthusiasts or collectors, or for those who want to have something special to write with. Also, because Platinum pens have their own cartridge size, we've included a free convertor with the pen so you can use with any bottled fountain pen ink.
