You will receive rock from the same shipment the rocks in the photo were from.
We got a good deal on this rough, we are passing that good deal on to you.

We do not pick the stones, we just grab them and weigh them out.
We can't really tell what color lots of them are unless they are wet

Most of the obsidian / volcanic glass is black but some of it will have a silver or gold sheen. I have not found any yet with rainbow sheen but it's possible. There are also some of the new Velvet obsidian, which is a golden green color, sometimes a golden green sheen over black.

Some of the pieces are thin and some are pretty good sized chunks.

Obsidian tumbles beautifully, however there are tricks to tumbling obsidian properly and this isn't a good stone for a beginner unless you do a lot of research first.

Any blue you see in the photos is reflection from the sky.

As always, if purchasing more than one item, please wait to pay so we can insert the correct postage cost. Otherwise you could pay too much. We are always happy to combine for lower postage costs (whenever possible)

NO MORE than one of these will fit in the small flat rate box. If you want more than one, you must choose the next larger box option or look at my other listings where I have larger amounts offered, some with shipping included. I will send a money request and you will have to pay it before I ship if you buy more than one of these and don't wait for me to invoice.

OTHER:

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: You must allow a minimum of five to six weeks for delivery. I will ship right away and it will reach your country in two or three days. It then can take five to six weeks to go through the customs process and be delivered to you. If you order between the first of September and end of December, please add a week or two to the delivery time.
