~ Boxed SRN5 Hovercraft Circa 1960 Toy By Marx ~
The plastic toy, made by Marx, is a hovercraft with a dark blue hull & off white decks, with yellow propellers & a green and red light to the back.
It was made by Louis Marx & Co. of Swansea.
~ Dimensions ~
The hovercraft has a length of 9 inches (22.8cm), a depth of 5 inches (12.7cm) and a height of 4 inches (10.2cm).
The box has a length of 10 inches (25.3cm), a depth of 5.5 inches (14cm) and a height of 4.5 inches (11.4cm).
The set weighs 380g.
~ Condition ~
The toy is in good condition. There is some discoloration to the plastic but in otherwise good order.
It is battery powered but does not appear to be working though the electric components are very clean, perhaps a loose wire.
The lid box has a tear along the edge of one corner, with some warping to the top of the lid.
