Troentorp Bastad | Swedish Clogs | Since 1907

Troentorp (tro-in-torp) is a village located outside the coastal city of Båstad, Sweden. For over 100 years, Troentorp has been the home of the original Swedish clog. In 1907, a skilled apprentice cobbler named August Johansson started the Troentorp Clog Factory using revolutionary techniques to craft comfortable clogs. By the 1970s, Troentorp Clogs achieved worldwide recognition, reaching over 15 different countries.

Today, Troentorp still provides the world with the finest handmade Swedish clogs.  The anatomically contoured footbeds are made with the finest alder wood, providing ultimate arch support and comfort. Each clog is hand-nailed with craftsmanship that has been passed down for generations.
