METHODS OF PAYMENT
Our preferred method of payment is "Paypal". We do however accept cheques drawn against any British High Street bank
or postal orders issued by the Post Office in the UK.

Paypal payments are immediately credited to your account and goods released for dispatch. payments using postal orders or cheques take 6 working days to clear following the date of receipt. Please be aware that this can delay dispatch by up to 2 weeks from the date you send your payment.

SHIPPING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Goods for dispatch fall into two main categories, packages under 2Kg and orders weighing over 2Kg
PARCELS UNDER 2 KG
All parcels to UK addresses including Highalnds and Islands are sent by Royal Mail second class post. Delivery from date of dispatch is normally 2 to 3 days, but can take up to 5 days depending on your location
All parcels to Europe and the Rest of the World (as defined by Royal Mail) are sent by Royal Mail Airmail service.
Transit times to most of Europe is normally 4 to 6 working days , but can take up to 10 working days.
Transit times to the Rest of The World normally take 6 to 10 days, but can take up to 21 days dependant on location.
Additional fees are payable should you wish your parcel tracked , currently this is £6.00 per parcel for overseas parcels and £1.00 for UK parcels
Please be aware that from time to time , parcels are delayed due to Customs and Security service intervention. WE are not responsible for these delays and would ask you to appreciate that when leaving feedback relating to transit times. Please note the feedback section on eBAY relates to "DISPATCH" times which is the only aspect of your parcels journey over which we have any control.
PARCELS OVER 2KG
Royal Mail will not accept parcels over 2kg, so we have to fnd suitable commerical couriers to get your parcel to you.
UK Parcels are normally sent using well known parcel courier companies, such as DHL, Hermes, TNT, Parcel Force. The courier used will depand on your location in the UK , the transit time , and the cost of the service. WE always try to get the best value for money for our clients. We do not normally insure overseas deliveries, but if you wish insurance please advise us at the time of your order and an additional fee will be payable to cover the cost of such insurance.
International Deliveries are sent using the most cost effective service available to your company . We do not normally insure overseas deliveries , but all parcels over 2kg are sent tracked and will require a signature upon delivery.
U.K. Customers
We offer the full coverage of all aspects of the Distance Selling Regulations and the Sale of Goods Act.
This means:-
You may return any damaged or incorrectly supplied item at our expense. we cover the cost of your payment the inital delivery costs and the costs of returning your item. You have 14 days from the date of receipt to return any such goods to us.
Under the Distance Seling Regulations, you may return within 14 days any item for any reason , provided it is returned in a saleable condition, and you would receive a full refund for the item and for your inital delivery costs.
For your protection , we only buy product through authorised manufacturers distributors, so you can be assured that all products purchased from us are the "Genuine Article"
OVERSEAS CLIENTS
If you have any cause for complaint, please contact us by email in the first instance and we shall do our utmost to resolve any problems you may have with any article purchased from us.

NON DELIVERY
If you have not received your order within the time specified on your original eBay order Please contact us by email or though the eBay message service.
All UK orders are dealt with under the terms of the Distance Selling Regualations.
Overseas clients - we offer a full trackable service for all sales at a fixed cost of £6 per parcel as charged to us by the Royal Mail Postal Service. If you choose not to use this service, we cannot be held responsible for any item once it has left the UK.
These terms of sale were updated 28/03/2014 and shall apply to all sales on or after that date.
ABOUT US
Kendal Kandy Shoppe has been selling online
for more years than we care to remember.
The business started as an online confectionery sales
site,and later added a few "Airfix" models that were on sale in our
bricks and mortar shop.
Over time the sweets took a back seat and eventually disappeared
altogether, while the model and hobby side of our business grew
and grew to the size it is today.
Although we had a bricks and mortar shop, the hobby business was run from home for several years, until it outgrew the facilites available to it at home and we had to search for a suitable warehouse premises
We are now based at Peppercorn Lane, close to the Abbot Hall Art Gallery and Museum
Unfortunatley the warehouse does not lend itself to retail callers, so we are Internet sales only.
The business is owned and operated by Elizabeth Chapman and Leonard Allen.
