Each bulb has 4 x 3528 SMD LEDs which are super bright and give off a really even light with a 180 degree angle, superior compared to the other LED products which are not as bright and have an uneven narrow spread of light.
LED's not only use significantly less power than a standard halogen globe (20mA per bulb), last up to 50,000 hours, produce very little heat and are extremely resilliant to shock and dust. I have literally thrown these globes at a wall and jumped on them, and they still work.
Note: LED's are polarised so they will only work 1 way.
