This pen was made using 2, 308 caliber, brass rifle casings. The primers have been removed. The rifle casings have been fired and may have minor scratches and dents due to the firing from the rifle. This only adds to the character of the pen. The rifle casings will have a natural patina over time and can be cleaned with a brass polish like brasso.

To replace the ink, pull off the top cassing while holding the bottom cassing and pull, then unscrew the pen cartridge. The pen cartridge is a standard cross type refill. The refill can be purchased from any office supply store.
