At Say Sales we pride ourselves on great customer service. If you require information regarding any watches you may be looking to buy, send us an e-mail: edward@saysales.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
All items sold by Say Sales are guaranteed to be 100% genuine brand new in the original box with the serial numbers intact (unless otherwise specified). We check all merchandise for any defects, scratches, or blemishes before it leaves our warehouse.
Fraud will not be tolerated and we will use all the information received to prosecute fraudsters. Please be advised that we randomly mark all our items with security marks, both UV and mechanical and all serial numbers are recorded. Do not attempt to return a similar item and keep the original purchased one as legal action will be taken should this should occur.
Items ordered after 1pm on Friday will not be sent out until Monday. We do not usually dispatch items on Saturday or Sunday. All items that we send out require a signature on delivery and we therefore cannot deliver to P.O.Boxes. We currently ship within the UK. If you require shipping within the EU please contact us. You must allow 15 working days for delivery before a package is classified as lost.
Our prices are much lower than the high street simply because we buy from our supplier in large quantities and as an online business we can operate with a low overhead cost.Authorized dealers are not allowed to sell their watches below RRP or sell them on the internet. All our watches still come from authorized dealers and are 100% genuine. We have chosen not to be an authorized dealer so that we can offer such great prices.
The only payment method currently accepted is Paypal. This is because it is a safe and quick form of payment. Item(s) will only be dispatched after cleared payment is received. We do not currently accept cheques or postal order/banker’s draft. We will not dispatch any items that haven’t been paid for. If payment has not been received within 48 hours, your bid will be cancelled and the sale is void without prior notice.
We offer a ‘no quibble’ 14 day money back guarantee. All requests for returns or exchanges must be made in writing, within 14 days of receipt of your items and confirmed by us in writing. Once 14 days has passed from receipt of your item your order will be assumed to be satisfactory and claims of shipment errors or requests for returns or exchanges will not be accepted.
The item is brand new and must be returned in exactly the same condition as received - including all packaging, boxes and coverings. If you are unsure if you wish to keep the item, do not wear it to 'try' it out, watches and jewellery pick up scuffs and scratches very easily and we will not accept returns of items we suspect have been worn or tampered with. We advise you to leave all the protective film on the item until you decide to keep or return the product. This is because we cannot resell the item as new even if it has only been worn for a short period. We will not accept any returns that have been worn, marked or damaged. If a watch is returned to us (as new) and we suspect it has been worn, tampered with or has markings of any kind we reserve the right to offer a partial refund, deducting an amount that we feel the watch has been devalued and the loss it has incured to its resale value. The purchaser will bear the cost of postage.
In the unlikely event that the item is faulty, we ask you to return the item complying with stipulations stated above. We will endeavour to provide a replacement item. If no replacement is in stock, you can choose to have a refund or exchange for a different item which is in stock of the same value. If no mechanical fault is found with your item, a refund will be given excluding our P&P costs.
All our watches come with our own 3 month movement warranty to give you peace of mind excluding accidental damage. Warranty does not cover any diamonds, gems, stones or other accessory on the watch. Please retain the invoice receipt provided with the goods to validate your warranty with us.
What does water resistant mean and what is ATM?
Since we have had many enquiries regarding water resistance, we have written a short guide to help you choose because the different levels of water resistance can be confusing. This is because some manufacturers provide the figure in feet, some in metres and others in ATM.
So what is ATM? It stands for Atmospheres, which is just a way of describing the amount of pressure put on the watch when it is at a certain depth of the sea. So for example if your watch says it is water resistant up to 1ATM, this would mean it could withstand the pressure of the (still) water at a depth of 10 metres or 33 feet. This does NOT mean that you can now swim in your watch or take it into the shower, because the force of the water from the shower or swimming exceeds 1ATM. So ATM is a pressure reading not a depth reading. Screw down crowns and screw down backs of watches generally provide more water resistance. Sudden changes in temperature, like going into a hot bath or shower or the cold sea would have an effect on the watch seals and continual use of this kind will probably cause some water to seep in and ruin it. If you need something that’s really waterproof you’re looking for a diving watch that needs to be around 20ATM and above. Here’s a quick usage guide to help you understand the different levels of ATM.
Water Resistance:
1 ATM -33 Feet – 10 Metres. Only protected against accidental contact with water. Will not withstand much water pressure so no washing the dishes or showering with this level, just take it off before you start.
3 ATM – 100 Feet – 30 Metres. Will withstand splashes, a little ‘dunk’ in the water or rain with ease. Not good enough for washing the dishes (phew!), swimming or showering though!
5 ATM – 165 Feet – 50 Metres. Ok, now you’re really talking a cool piece of equipment, can wear it to do the dishes (oh no!). We have seen many watch sellers say that it is suitable for showering and swimming, although we recommend 10ATM. (PS not ready for bathing or snorkelling yet).
10ATM – 330 Feet – 100 Metres. Whoa, who’s looking good in the bath? You can bath, shower, snorkel and yup you can still do the dishes I'm afraid!
20ATM – 660 Feet – 200 Metres. Will the real James Bond please stand up. You are ready to go recreational sea diving. If you need to go deeper you will need a watch certified by the divers watches international standard to be fit for your depth and type of diving.
You must check with a competent professional to see if your watch is fit for purpose. This is intended for guide purposes only.
