This beautiful Nikon D3 camera body is a no-compromise tool that will satisfy the needs of any photographer from serious amateur to full-time professional. Its viewfinder is big, clear and bright, its full-frame image sensor is superb, and its focusing system is eye-blink quick and dead-on accurate. Combined with an eleven-fps shutter, it will put three or four shots in its buffer before anybody else even gets started. Nikon's newer professional bodies do give incremental improvements in resolution and processing speed, but the D3 is such an enormous leap above anything else as to be truly astonishing for those not already familiar with its capabilities. It is a superb tool and is still very much in its prime for professional use.

This camera in excellent condition both functionally and in terms of appearance and works with the fluidity and quickness one should expect from Nikon's top professional bodies. Everything on the camera responds with precision, and in general it has the look and the feel of a brand-new body. Its physical condition is excellent, with wear limited to a few very minor superficial marks mainly on the camera's bottom surfaces. Operationally, the camera has barely been broken in: it shows a total lifetime shutter actuation count of only 24,836, and all controls, all functions and all moving parts operate with as-new precision and feel. The camera comes with a new-style BF-1B body cap, a strong (condition 1) Nikon EN-EL4a battery, Nikon MH-21 Quick Charger, USB connection cable and Nikon D3 camera strap as shown. The camera is shown with a Hoodman accessory eyecup, popular with eyeglass wearers and also effective at providing a good light seal for non-eyeglass wearers. The original Nikon eyepiece or a standard folding rubber eyecup can be substituted if preferred. Also happy to throw in a memory card upon request.
