The Selenium 12MB2P 12"Woofer/Midbass Speaker is a high output/extended range transducer intended for installation in professional PA systems. It will perform well in sealed, vented, or horn-type enclosures, with fidelity and efficiency few drivers in its class can match.

High efficiency is achieved through Selenium's use of a large ceramic ferrite motor and low mass 4" diameter aluminum voice coil wound on a fiberglass former. The 12MB2P's long fiber pulp cone, impregnated double half-roll fabric surround, and optimized poly-cotton spider maintain their linearity at the very high sound pressure levels achievable by the speaker.
