The cure time can be adjusted by varying the amount of catalyst

  • A ratio of 4% catalyst (4g catalyst per 100g rubber)= Pot life of 4-6 minutes - Cure time of 1.5 hours 
  • A ratio of 3% catalyst (3g catalyst per 100g rubber)= Pot life of 15-20 minutes - Cure time of 3 hours 
  • A ratio of 2% catalyst (2g catalyst per 100g rubber)= Pot life of 25-30 minutes - Cure time of 7 hours 

Newly formulated to be of the highest quality comparable to other leading brands.

The catalyst has been formulated to pose minimal risk to the user and is non-toxic, non-flammable and virtually odourless unlike the majority of other condensation cure silicone on the market.
The two components mix easily by hand and because of the low viscosity can be used without processing in a vacuum chamber. The cured rubber is a flexible, elastic material with exceptional tensional and tear strength. There is almost no shrinkage (0.2%) and excellent reproduction of fine detail. It has a long mould life with outstanding release properties, there is no risk of the casting material sticking to the mould. 
Supplied with a purple catalyst which provides a visual aid to ensure that the material is thoroughly mixed. A clear catalyst is available on request.

  • For creating a two part mould a release agent is required
  • Can be pigmented to a wide range of colours 
  • It can be softened to your own requirements using this softening additive  
  • Can be made thixotropic for applying to vertical surfaces or to over head objects

Delivery Information
