Each hinge has 3" x 4" bases and is designed to be fastened to the end of your dock section with 3/8" diameter bolts (not included). These hinges use a 1/2" diameter machine grade stainless steel shoulder bolt to ensure a long life, and are made right here in NH by RDS.
