We are offering an extremely nice trio by WILEMAN & CO. This set has Wileman backstamp used between 1890 - 1910. The Wileman & Co. china potteries were, by this time, run by the Shelleys, therefore, we are comfortable referring to this set as "Pre-Shelley". The registration mark for this particular shape is dated 1896. It is similar to the Shelley's Warwick shape and we have seen it referenced as "Century". The pattern is #5658 and referenced as "Trailing Floral" or "Dainty Purple". Obviously I need to buy another book! Cup is 3 7/8" wide at mouth and stands 2 1/16" Saucer is 5 1/2" in diameter Dessert Plate 7 0" in diameter Please note the we are not experts and may lack the vocabulary to fully describe an item. We request that you carefully inspect item details and photographs and if there is any question what so ever contact us for additional information and/or photographs prior to ordering.
