Dead Fans!!!!?!... now, how about it - and what do you-say! More Delicious!! Spring Tour '72 Live-Dead at the Academy of Music in New York City!!! Wow. I don't know what your reaction was, when you 1st caught the word on this one... that it would indeed be a Reality! But, for me? I spun out of my chair (literally!)... and put both-hands straight up-in-the-air!! Started clappin' and then let out one of those WaaaaHooooosss!!! I mean you can hear me here, right? Right-on... for certain. I mean, let's put it this way... in 2004, in the near-final days of the 36-Installments of the Dick's Picks Series... Volume 30 delivered a beyond-Smoker!!! -- known simply as 'Dick's Picks Volume 30'!!... which, naturally - was Four (4) Discs of Academy of Music N.Y.C. Spring Tour '72 Magic!!!! And... that-one came in the form of two Huge-chunks of March '72 Goodness! --- March 25 & 28, 1972 ( 3/25/1972 & 3/28/1972 ) - 4-CD's with CD 1 actually featuring 5-Tracks with Bo Diddley himself! That set starts out so unique & different that most Dead Fans just kinda sit there thinking... Wow?!?, this is Really~Hot?!!!! And, soon after the Bo Diddley live-action, it's all Pure-Bred Grateful Dead!!! Which means, Pigpen! giving just about all that he had left in the tank - to the Fans!!! At least in my opinion, Pigpen truly defines the definition of a Rock & Roll 'Professional' in this period & era. He's not feeling himself as we all well know, but even the finest-tuned Fan 'Ear' - can hardly really even tell! Seriously impressive... Bob, Phil & the Masterful! Drums Time-keeping... just Perfecto! -- and, completely consistent too, fluid & tight! Totally air-tight... And, as far as Garcia goes... just trademarking & attacking! that Colorsound Wah!!! A guitar-playing Clinic! - for any guitar-player... who believes wholeheartedly in timing, tempo... & most-of-all - Fat-Tone!!! Wow..... So, my point here being - this was the 3/25/72 & 3/28/72 action that most all have been Loving! for over a decade now. And then too (in 2004), the ultra rare Academy Of Music 'Bonus Disc CD' even added more March '72, when it was distributed with the 2004 release of the "Rockin' The Rhein" 3-CD Set! The Bonus Disc delivers 5-tracks from the 3/22/1972 Show! - and then too... also the Dark Star! from 3/23/1972 Show!!! So... you can really see just exactly where I'm headed here with this "Dave's Picks 2015 Bonus Disc" CD Set... Yes! CD is in Very Good condition, with some light factory abrasion scratches/scuffs on the CD playing surface (cosmetic-only) - please see photos. CD Case ('Artistic' Single-Sleeve (Flat) 1-CD Case) is in Like New (Near Mint/Mint) condition (please see photos). This CD was purchased Brand New/Factory-Sealed, and has been played only one-time. This Bonus Disc has been very carefully stored next to other CD Cases in my professional CD rack. Please see all photos provided. Photos included are of the actual items you will receive.
