Grateful Dead : One From The Vault !!! : August 13, 1975 ( 8/13/1975 ) : Great American Music Hall - San Francisco, CA : 2007 'Remaster' of the 1991 GDP release Classic! ... HOT !!!

The 1975 "Return" of the Grateful Dead !!! ... captured in All! of its Glory -- & Beyond.....  'Digitally-Remastered' !!! - the long-awaited 2007 Remaster Release !!

Oh my Grateful Dead!?!!!  Wow...  Pretty much every person - Dead Fan, or Not! - really should hear this one, at some point in life.  It's just 'that-good' - and in the Deadhead Universe, it's as equally important 'historically', as it is musically-good too.  So when you are as great of a band as the Grateful Dead, you can take a little time off - some time for yourself, a few solo projects here and there and what have you.  Might as well refresh - after being weighed down physically, emotionally, and financially - after the burden of the Wall of Sound (though, a beautiful sounding burden it was! - to the Dead Fans).  But, we are not only talking about the Best Live Band Ever here - but, we are also talking about some serious addicts of playing music live, with collective burning desires to "take it to the people".  So... after "The Last One" run completed at the Winterland in October of '74, the Dead as a unit were only able to stay-away from performing live for less than 5-months... studio sessions ensued in March of '75 (for the S.N.A.C.K. benefit show in S.F.) - and this led to additional studio sessions in both April & June at Bob Weir's "Ace's" studio in Mill Valley.  Then finally... a Grateful Dead headline Show was booked & performed back at the Winterland on 6/17/75!  Then, some more studio sessions at "Ace's" again in July.  Then, then, then THIS!!!  The Monumental, Massive & Historic Grateful Dead performance at The Great American Music Hall, in San Francisco on August 13, 1975 ( 8/13/75 ) - broadcasted on FM! about 2-weeks later!!  True signs that they were "Back"!  And as all Fans eagerly hoped for, a 1976 Summer Tour was indeed booked promptly.  But even more importantly, this new "Blues For Allah" material was unique, very different & truly mind-blowing stuff!!  Help > Slip! > Franklin's, Crazy Fingers, The Music Never Stopped, Blues For Allah, Sage & Spirit, and etc..  The Grateful Dead showed yet once again that they are not only refreshed, rip-roaring & ready-to-go... but that they have actually never gone nowhere - and never really ever left.  The fact in actuality is, that they only got better (much better...), and are an even now a more-powerful force to be reckoned not just as a great Live-Band, but also a much better Studio-Band too!  As it goes without saying, Blues for Allah speaks for itself on this claim.  Just as Mars Hotel, and Wake Of The Flood did prior.  So... here we have the Original 1991 Grateful Dead Productions "One From The Vault" 8/13/75 release - Digitally-Remastered in Pristine! quality in 2007!!!  It is both musically & sonically-awesome, and is a true 'Must-Have' for any Grateful Dead and/or Music Fan! who appreciates the best-of-the-best available in Live pro-releases.  I myself was fortunate enough to actually "hear" the original 8/13/75 played through an impressive sound-system right inside the Great American on 8/13/95 at a private event following Garcia's untimely passing.  Wow... huh!?!  Seriously... a moment in time that I shall never-ever forget.  So, here it is indeed -- "One From The Vault" - Remastered! ... which really, could also be very-appropriately titled "One For The Ages"!!!  Enjoy !!!!!
