The frame and magnet assembly have been disassembled...top-plate removed and cleaned, magnet pot cleaned and treated with an anti-corrosive gun oil...magnet recharged...terminals replaced with new...reconed with my aftermarket recone kit that pays meticulous attention to factory assembly techniques. You won't find a finer rebuild of a JBL speaker anywhere else. I've done this rebuild for many customers across the country over the last several years and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. As you might or might not know, JBL stopped offering the E130 recone kit 5 years ago, and this is my assembly that is also available here on eBay. Check my other listings.

This is the last of the D130 frames I had on hand recently. I'd love to see this go to a player that appreciates the timeless performance of a properly rebuilt JBL at a fraction of the cost a new unit would sell for today ($700-$750). It's also a great value considering the cost of acquiring and shipping the speaker is already done....and most likely for less money. Voice coil former is vented anodized aluminum with aluminum edgewound wire. OEM JBL aluminum dome from limited supply.
