Echi-Mullein III is a third generation herbal formula, developed over twenty years in the pursuit of an effective aid to combat the debilitating symptoms associated with colds and flu.

The unique combination of over fifteen different, specifically selected herbs helps to relieve these symptoms (cough, runny nose, aching joints, headache).  Taken as precautionary supplement, it will help to boost your immune system to prevent infection. Echi-Mullein III contains two main ingredients Echinacea angustifolia and Mullein as well as other specific herbs to work synergistically.

Echinacea angustifolia

The Echinacea herb is one of the most popular remedies used in herbalism. It is considered to be the prime remedy for the Immune system and this view has been supported by extensive research.

Echinacea specifically may strengthen the immune system against pathogenic infection by stimulating phagocytosis, T-cell formation, and by inhibiting the hyalurinadase enzyme secreted by bacteria to effect the breakdown of cell walls and the formation of pus.

Mullein

Mullein specifically may be taken for the symptoms of bronchitis with hard cough and soreness. It is also a herb for cold and congestion. The leaves and flowers are used to reduce mucous and stimulate coughing up of phlegm.

Echi-Mullein III does not contain any  preservatives, animal products or chemicals, is suitable for children and adults and has no side effects.

Active ingredients:

How to take Echi-Mullein III

Add 5mls to half a cup of warm water and take before food one to three times daily.  Alternatively this is a great aid when added to hot lemon and honey.  See below for the best hot lemon recipe.

HOT LEMON PREPARATION

Place a whole lemon into a saucepan with one pint of water.

Bring to the boil and simmer slowly for about 45 minutes or until the lemon is soft.

Mash the lemon into the water until it is well broken.

Add a further half pint of water and simmer for another 15 minutes.

TO USE

Strain in to a mug (about ¼ of a mug) and add two teaspoons of honey.

Add medicine if instructed.

Sip the lemon drink whilst hot.

Note:  Each time you take some lemon from the pan, return the lemon bits from the strainer into the pan and top up with ¼ mug of water.  Continue to do this until the flavour is diminished.
