This exclusive collectable from Maxedugifts features:
On the 17th May 1943, a squadron of World War II’s most successful night bombers valiantly prepared to embark on World War II’s famed Operation Chastise. Symbolising the hopes of the Allied nations, the courageous crew of 617 Squadron and their mighty Avro Lancaster Bombers were led by Wing Commander Guy Gibson as they soared into military history as the Dambusters. These men and the raid will be remembered for the ‘Upkeep’ mine that breached the Möhne Dam, dropped from Flt. Lt. David Maltby’s Lancaster Bomber.
Honour the planes and men of 617 Squadron with the ‘Dambusters’ Lancaster Bomber Mechanical Watch. Officially endorsed by the Lest We Forget Association, this signature edition is unique to The Bradford Exchange and is limited to just 4,999 editions.
A registered charity, the ‘Lest We Forget’ Association supports the welfare of disabled Armed Forces and Merchant Navy personnel, active and otherwise, in hospital or at home.
