The Shiba Drive is a smooth sounding overdrive pedal that will work great with clean amps for a bluesy overdrive tone or with an already overdriven amp to kick it to next gear. Some players even like to use pedals of this class with a heavily overdriven amp for additional sustain and compression. Whatever the application, the Shiba Drive will shine and give you the performance you seek from a high quality overdrive pedal.
There is no harshness or flubbiness in the Shiba Drive's sonic character whatsoever. There is a slight midrange hump that helps you cut through the mix, but the sonic integrity of your guitar and pickups comes through loud and clear. The tone is musical and balanced with firm lows, punchy mids with just the right amount of cut, and sweet silky highs. The Shiba Drive can purr, sing, growl or scream depending on the amp's setup and the amount of signal you're feeding it from your guitar and pickups. Combine the Shiba with the Koko with a single-channel tube amp for an extremely versatile rig. Like all of our products, what you put into this pedal is what you'll get out of it. The Shiba Drive begs you to stomp on it and produce some righteous tones.

Important Buyer Information
Returns: Geartree will accept the return of items that are damaged, defective or that do not meet the buyer's needs for a refund. Geartree will only reimburse return shipping on confirmed defective products up to 30 days from the time of delivery. Item must be shipped back through an economy, trackable method. Reimbursement granted upon confirmed arrival of package and return shipping receipt. If the item returned is damaged or defective the buyer is eligible for a full refund. Geartree does not accept returns for exchanges or replacements, only refunds on international orders.
If the item is returned for any reason other than damage or defect, return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility and initial shipping costs (given at time of request) will be subtracted from the refund. Refunds on listings are subject to a 15% restocking fee. In certain instances, where an item shows wear or product packaging is missing or destroyed and the item cannot be sold again as new, a restocking fee may be applied.
We strongly advise that the buyer e-mails Geartree before the return of an item. If the item is damaged, please send pictures and a detailed message.
International Shipments: We will only be using USPS for international shipments. Please refer to the shipping tab for rates and excluded countries. Geartree is not responsible for duty fees/import tax/brokerage fees. For more information about import taxes and fees, please contact your local customs department.
Power Requirements: All equipment sold is based on United States power specifications and may need additional modifications or converters in countries other than the USA or Canada. We are not responsible for providing additional power supplies for the customer's corresponding country.
