Offered or sale we have this stunning, top quality, Willliam IV Inlaid Mother of Pearl and Tortoise Shell Desk Standish

Circa 1830

The rectangular stand raised on bun feet and with two glass ink bottles with 'Faux' Tortoiseshell lids and two sunken pen wells. The 'Faux' Tortoiseshell has been expertly inlaid with a mother of pearl marquetry.

This is a really beautiful object which placed on a lovely desk is sure to attract a lot of attention.

Condition: In excellent condition, no damage or losses. Just minor superficial usage marks. Please see photos for confirmation.

Dimensions in cm: Width 9½" (24cm) x Depth 7" (17.5cm) x Height, without bottles 1¾" (3cm) approx

Orders will be dispatched within 48 hours after payment has been received, although I do not post at weekends or UK Public Holidays. If you require the item quicker please contact me as I may be able to offer an express service.

The postage / shipping rates are quoted in the listing. Unfortunately Ebay & Paypal also charge fees on postage costs so this will slightly increase the basic costs from the supplier. Sometimes I do have to buy quality packaging materials and these are expensive, so please also also bear this & the Ebay/Paypal fees in mind when you see the shipping price.

Orders for the UK will be shipped using Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded Delivery or similar courier for bulky items. International orders will be shipped using an appropriate equivalent service.

I also try to use recycled packaging as much as possible to keep the post and packaging costs down, but always ensuring items reach you in the same condition as they leave me.

Returns Policy

I am certain that you will be satisfied with any item purchased from me, but if you are not 100% happy then I offer a 'no-quibble' return and refund policy. Unless the product is faulty or I have made an error in the listing then the purchaser will be responsible for the costs of the postage.
